Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I have the joy and

privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse. I want to pray for someone who's having

sibling stress. So, Lord Jesus, I pray for my friend who has stress or maybe feels irreconcilable

between a brother or a sister. And Lord, I pray that you would make a way,

that you would search their heart and help them to find out what they could apologize for,

but also that you would search the heart of the other and that you would cause them to also want to reconcile.

Lord, reconciliation takes two people, and so we just pray that you would bring it about in Jesus name amen

all right today I'm finishing up Psalm 106 and I'm going to be reading verses 26 through 48 in the

world English Bible and this is what it says therefore he swore to them that he would overthrow them in the wilderness, that he would

overthrow their offspring among the nations and scatter them in the lands.

They joined themselves also to bail, Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds. The plague broke in on

them. Then Phineas stood up and executed judgment so the plague was stopped. That was credited to him

for righteousness for all generations to come. They angered him also at the waters of Maribah so that

Moses was troubled for their sake.

Because they were rebellious against his spirit, he spoke rashly with his lips.

They didn't destroy the peoples as Yahweh had commanded them, but mixed themselves with the nations and learned their works.

They served their idols which became a snare to them. Yes, they sacrificed their

sons and their daughters to demons. They shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their

daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was polluted with blood. Thus, they were

defiled with their works and prostituted themselves in their deeds

therefore yahweh burned with anger against his people he abhorred his inheritance he gave them into the hand of the nations those who hated them ruled over them
