Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray through the Bible verse by verse, super grateful for you.

And I just want to feel, I just feel contended.

No, that's not it.

I feel like I'm supposed to pray for those who are preachers.

So Jesus, I lift up those who are pastors and preachers today.

And I know it can be a

thankless job full of angst and worry and pain and a lack of time and all of that. I just pray that

you would be with our shepherds today. You would be the lifter of their heads, that you would

help them persevere, give them rest, give them Sabbath, help them to have

balance in their lives, help them to have affection for your word. And I pray that your word

would be transformative in them. I pray you'd heal them from past aches, heal them from past traumas,

even congregational traumas. Pray you put their feet on a rock, make their footsteps firm that many would see and say that

you are God because of their faithfulness.

Help them to finish well.

I pray in Jesus' name.
