Summary

EP11 - You're only the main character in your story so why not make it a good one? Something I used to struggle with that I have worked hard to improve is living selfishly, in a way that isn't shaped by those around me. We develop a real need to please everyone, from parents to friends to society, and it just isn't possible to do that. I want this episode to give you that push to start doing things, saying things and making decisions for you and choosing your happiness. Make today the first day of the journey to becoming authentically you and knowing that that is enough.

0:41.8

light and also maybe inspire you to just be a little bit more authentically you I think it's

0:50.1

important to note that the further away you come away from like childhood, the more your kind of

0:58.3

opinions or mindsets are less you in terms of they're shaped by society and your parents

1:05.2

and everyone's opinion about you. That's when like children and they're just asking so many

1:10.8

questions and they're so inquisitive and they know when they're's when like children and they're just asking so many questions

1:11.2

and they're so inquisitive and they know when they're hungry, they know when they're sad and

1:15.3

whatever. And as we grow up, we're told, oh, don't do that. Oh, no, you can't ask that. Or you can't

1:20.7

do this. So we become less, I would say, authentically us. And I think if there's one massive purpose in life,

1:30.8

I know there's several, but one of them would be to be as authentically you. What do you like to do?

1:38.2

What are your passions? What do you want to be? Because, well, that's what we're going to talk about in this podcast today.

inspire you to do more you.
