Hello once again my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. Wherever you are in the world, I want to welcome you.

I was just looking at the stats today to see where people are listening to the morning mindset.

And the top 10 countries actually surprised me a little bit. I mean the United States makes sense because that's where I'm broadcasting from.

And then is Canada that kind of makes sense as well. But then third on the list is South Africa.

Fourth is Australia, then the United Kingdom, then Zambia, then Nigeria, then the Philippines, then Ghana and Puerto Rico.

Friends wherever in the world you're listening, I'm so grateful I'm so humbled that this broadcast is proving to be a blessing to you.

I pray that you will be blessed day after day as we look at the Word of God together and get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

Or today you may have noticed the title is prudent wives. This comes from Proverbs chapter 19 verse 14.

We're going to unpack the verse and I want you to know just right here at the outset. I am so blessed by the wisdom and prudence of my wife.

And she is indeed a blessing from the Lord. And that's what Proverbs 19 14 says will be the case.

It says, house and wealth are inherited from fathers.

In a Solomon's talking about back in his day, the inheritance came from the Father.

And it could include things like a house and wealth and animals and all those sorts of things.

That's inherited from fathers. But a prudent wife is from the Lord.

So the first thing Solomon's doing is he's contrasting the source of these two gifts.

He's saying your father may hand down some pretty good things to you, but he's unable to give you one of the better things which is a prudent wife.

Only God can give you that. And so first off, what Solomon's trying to get his son to understand is that God desires for him.

If he's to be married to have a prudent wife, a wise wife, and God is the giver of a wife who is prudent.

But I think also Solomon is pointing out the value of a prudent wife, not just that God gives her, but that that is something you should seek.

And there's kind of an implication here more than a house and more than wealth. You should be seeking a prudent wife if you're a young man who's looking to be married.

Now let's stop for a moment and let's look at this from both sides, from the man's side and from the woman's side.

And let's start out with the woman, the one who would be the wife.
