Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I wonder are you

familiar with the word prudence? Do you know what the meaning of that word is

prudence means wise and careful consideration? Doing things that are

wise and circumspect rather than being reckless. We're going to see a great

example of that today and I think we're going to be able to apply it to our

lives in a way that's very instructive. We are looking at the book of Acts

chapter 21. Now verse number 17 continues the story of Paul's missionary

journey as he's wrapping it up and he's moving back toward the city of Jerusalem.

And verse 17 says, when we had come to Jerusalem the brothers received this

gladly. Now the brothers are the other believers in Jesus Christ who are there

in Jerusalem that says on the following day Paul went in with us to James and

all the elders were present. After greeting them he related one by one the

things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. Now the

Gentiles are the non-Jewish people that Paul's been ministering to out in

Ephesus and Philippi and Corinth and all those places. And when they heard it

they glorified God and they said to him, you see brother how many thousands

there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They're all zealous for

the law and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are

among the Gentiles to forsake Moses telling them not to circumcise their

children or walk according to our customs. What then is to be done? They will

certainly hear that you've come. Now stop for a moment. These church leaders are

posing the problem. They're showing Paul the circumstance that he has stepped
