Hamdil-Lah, welcome back to our class after our hiatus in Ramadan,

which wasn't an actual hiatus.

We had some nice chill testimonials and sessions that also went viral. Al-Hamda-Lah. So now we are back to our class about modern theology.

And before Ramadan, for a number of months,

we discussed the very, very important topic of why religion?

Why religion?

What does religion bring to the table?

Why should we turn to something that is being abandoned

more and more in the time firm that we live in? And we discussed the benefits of religion from

multiple angles. Religion answers the fundamental questions of how I got here, where I'm going,

how do I get there, what do I do? Religion answers questions of good and evil, questions

of morality. Religion answers questions of belonging in society. Religion gives us a better spirituality,

a more upbeat attitude towards life. It's better for our conscience, spiritual fulfillment,

on and on and on. And we ended the class right before Ramadan with actual statistics

about religious, religious people and how the quality of life is better for them. Now, that was all

part one. The broad bird's eye view, 30,000 feet view, we're now move on to part two. Allah knows

how long it's going to last because I have no deadlines.

This is a meandering class.

And if need be, I'll pause and take a detour and come back.
