What's going on everyone? Welcome back to the Epic Gardening Podcast. Kevin here. I'm joined by Adam

Mosley. He is the research and new product developer at Pleasantview Gardens, which is the home of proven winners.

And today we're talking about proven harvest.

And this is something that, to my understanding, Adam is very new for proven winners, at least something that I could access at a

garden center and it's it's the whole world of edible plants right?

Yeah that's correct so it is relatively new. I think the first time the consumers,

your listeners could find it in the garden centers would have been last year and we've expanded

it a little bit this year with a couple of new introductions.

So when I first started talking to you guys

improvement winners about a month ago, you guys mentioned that

there was a specific reason you didn't get into this for a while and it was because you didn't

want to come in with like just the same thing as everyone else, right? Right, I mean, there's a million different varieties of peppers and tomatoes, you know, it's a hard thing

to market against.

You know, a lot of them are seed produced, which typically our model is with more vegetative

produced varieties.

And it's just a huge, huge space.

It's a tough market to be in.

Yeah.

What was the impetus then for actually getting into it?
