will always be proven. We return today to the example of Abraham in Hebrews

chapter number 11. You talk about a man who was a true believer who didn't just say it,

who lived by faith. And we began in verse 8 and verse 9, in building a household of faith.

He laid the foundation. What was the foundation? That was the promises of God.

And then he began to give instruction to his children.

This is so important.

Isaac and Jacob lived in those tents with him in that wilderness.

They were watching their father.

They were watching the faith of their father.

They were learning by his instruction. They were learning by

his example every day. The Bible says in verse 10, that he looked for a city which hath foundations.

I love this, whose builder and maker is God. People would think of Abraham as the builder. He was

building a household of faith, but God was building his life,

and God was building the nation. The great builder and maker is always God. By the way,

isn't it interesting that even when Abraham got in the land of promise, he was still looking for a city?

See, I don't believe this is just a reference to geographical things here in this world.

I think his faith was always eternal, the best yet to come.
