though, we've got a brilliant interview with Escandah Sadeghi about the current

anti-government protests in Iran and how they fit into the international context.

Straight into that first story, in iran appear to be

spreading with protests that began in opposition to rising prices evolving into a movement against

the governing regime and there is currently a consensus emerging on right wing twitter if you've been

on there that the mainstream media is refusing to cover these protests. The claim is

bizarrely that Western media has this enormous bias in favour of the Ayatollah's regime. I'm not so

what the explanation is supposed to be for that bias. In any case, to put that to bed, here's part of a

report from Thursday night on Channel 4 News. This evening across Iran, thousands responded to the call to take to the streets against

the regime.
