things off, let's talk about that. What is an emotional affair?

If you had to define it, what would you say? Sure. We know what, most of them know what affair is.

We think about that is you're having sex with somebody outside of marriage. So emotional affair,

I think, is you're doing everything but sex. I mean, you're investing in that person,

you're caring about that person, you're connected to that person, you're, you're caring about that person, you're connected to that

person, you're having feelings and emotions for that person. And, you know, to me, that's really

what an emotional fear is all about. There's no sex in it because that's just emotional. But my gosh,

you're giving everything else. Yeah, certainly. I agree. I think it's really an affair of the heart is what I've

heard it call before. And I couldn't agree more. I think when you're seeking emotional intimacy

with someone other than your spouse, that's an emotional affair. And typically what I find is it

begins with friendship and then it eases into light flirting and then all of a sudden it's a full-blown

emotional affair.

And I think the hard thing about this in our culture is we hate calling things what they are.

Dylan was just talking about this in a sermon not all that long ago about how our culture hates to just call things what it is.

And so instead of, you know, saying that we sin, we say, oh, I made a mistake, you know,
