Hey, what's up? It's Alex from Amen Podcast. Today we're talking about protect your peace.

First, let's talk about Batman. Batman is a vigilante. He lives outside of the jurisdiction of Gotham,

yet he's made it his job, his passion in life to protect the peace of Gotham, and how does you do that?

Not by necessarily playing by all the rules that the cops tell him to play by. He does stuff on

his own dime, on his own time, his own way. And when it's all said and done, he flies out of

Gotham to his lonely mansion where it's only him and Alfred. And it's there where he can be

vigilant in protecting his peace. Not many people know

his secret identity. Not many people know where he lives, where they can find the back cave.

He is serious about protecting his peace. We have to be that serious. My family and I love going to this

place, and it's a place where it's right on the ocean. There's no sand. There's just lava rock

and it's beautiful. It's wide open. There's big mansions everywhere around us, but they're vacation

rentals. So most of the time, no one's there. And when we go here, we can spend an hour here and not

see a soul. It's a place where we can protect our peace and be alone with each other and be alone with God.

We're going to be in Luke chapter 5 verses 15 through 16 and we're going to talk about the need to protect your peace, the problem with protecting your peace, the solution in how to protect your peace.

And then lastly, what God wants you to do next that you've protected your peace.
