All right, before we get to our prophecy update, I want to take a brief moment to honor fathers on this Father's Day.

For me personally, Father's Day is always special because it was founded by Sonora Smart Dodd in, of all places, Spokane, Washington, which is where I'm from, my old stomping grounds,

where I live for most of my life, where I met my wife 33 years ago now.

Its first celebration was in the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 2010.

Sonora's father, Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his

six children in Spokane, Washington. After hearing a sermon about Jarvis'

Mother's Day at Central Methodist Episcopal Church in 1909, Sonora told her pastor that fathers

should have a similar holiday honoring them. Yeah. Although she initially suggested

June 5th, her father's birthday, the pastors did not have enough time to prepare their sermons,

and I feel their pain and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June and that's why to this day we celebrate

Father's Day. So at this time I'd like to have the fathers stand and remain standing.

Those of you online, we want to honor you as well.

I hope you don't mind my candor when I say this.

But you see all these fathers standing here of which I am one.

You don't see those that are online, the many fathers watching this YouTube video.

But can I, on their behalf, ask you, even plead with you to pray for us as fathers?

We live in a day and in a world where it's becoming increasingly difficult

as fathers and as husbands as well. I have started and operated and owned two businesses. I have planted and pastored two churches of which

this is the second. And combined, they are not and were not as difficult as it is to be a father

in this world in which we live today. We need your prayers. We need your

support. So what I want us to do is to pray to ask God for help. Hebrews 416, to boldly approach his throne of grace for mercy. We need mercy.
