Let's get started. Colossians chapter 2. Our text today will be verses 11 through 15. I'll ask you to

stand if you're able. You can follow along as I read. The apostle Paul is writing and by the Holy Spirit

says verse 11 in him speaking of Christ, you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands.

Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with Him in baptism

in which you were also raised with Him through your faith in the working of God who raised

him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins, verse 13. And in the uncircumcision

of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled

the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us.

He has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

And, verse 15, having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them,

triumphing over them by the cross.

you speak into our lives in and through your word.

Lord, unless the Holy Spirit gets our attention and keeps our attention, our minds are going to wander.

And if that happens, we're going to miss what it is that you desire to minister to us in the text that is before us.

And we don't want that to happen.

So, Lord, will you speak clearly and personally into our lives
