For today's update, I want to sort through and talk about where I believe recent developments of prophetic significance may in fact be heading in the not too distant future. I do so with the understanding that you,

for the most part, know that scripture describes and in some cases in great detail what will take place at the time of the end. Jesus said, I will tell you before it

happens so that when it happens, you will believe that I am. Well, as we look around, what we see

in the world today comports with that which we were told would happen in scripture. All the players, all the pieces

are being put in place as we speak. What I want to do though, I know that's kind of broad, is draw

your attention to the specific prophecies concerning the world's insatiable quest and acceptance

of peace and the man who will come on the scene and offer this peace. I want to start with this prophecy in Daniel chapter 8

verse 25. It says, and through his policy, speaking of the Antichrist, also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand and he shall magnify himself in his heart and listen by

peace peace shall destroy many he shall also stand up against the prince of princes, speaking of Jesus, but he shall be broken

without hand.

First Thessalonians 5.3, I'm sure familiar to most.

The Apostle Paul writing says, for while they are saying, at the time that they are saying,

peace and security, sudden destruction

comes upon them as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and they shall not escape.

Second Thessalonians chapter 2. You might want to turn there because we're going to come back to this

particular passage in Second Thessalonians 2. I want to read verses 9 through 12. The Apostle Paul again
