So for our prophecy update today, I want to begin with some praise reports and answers to prayer, of which there were many.

The first praise report is concerning a dear friend of mine that I asked you to pray for with me two Sundays when I was here last, Jim Cote.

He actually underwent triple bypass surgery at the very time that we were praying for him during first service on Sunday, September 30, had been rushed in for emergency surgery

because he had basically 95 and plus percent blockage, if you can imagine. It was actually an

answer to prayer that he was still alive.

And the doctors, this is the praise report, were so amazed at how quickly the surgery and successfully the surgery went.

And then how quickly he had recovered.

Some of the staff said we've never seen anybody walking after a triple

bypass surgery as quickly as you did. And I got to tell you, and I know in knowing some

of you well enough, you've been on the receiving end of miracles like this and answers to

prayer like this. And he wanted me to take the opportunity to thank you for praying. We had

people all over the world literally praying for him by way of not just the church here locally,

but the church online globally as well.

A second praise report and answered prayer was concerning our trip to New York.

As many of you know, our 10-year-old daughter, Sabia, was selected to sing America the beautiful a cappella at the U.S.

Tennis Open.

She was actually selected to sing at the women's semifinals, and it just so happened to be the

match where Venus Williams was defeated by Sloan Stevens,

who ended up winning this year's open. So many of you asked why it wasn't televised, and for that,

I apologize. The only answer I can give you is that commercial revenue from advertisers is at a premium. I guess it's a little more valuable than some 10-year-old Kailua girl, seeing in America the beautiful, especially during the semifinals when attendance and viewers are at an all-time high.

So, be that as it may, I know many of you prayed, and for that we are most grateful, especially her mom and I,

who, as you might imagine, were extremely nervous.
