Well, there are new details and allegations coming in about the movie set shooting involving

actor Alec Baldwin. Court records now show an assistant director handed Baldwin a loaded

weapon and told him it was safe to use. Moments later, the actor pulled the trigger,

and cinematographer Helena Hutchins was shot and killed. The director who was standing behind

Hutchins was also hurt, but he's now out of the hospital recovering. He told authorities Baldwin

was rehearsing a scene that involved pointing a revolver toward the camera lens, even though the

camera wasn't filming yet. Well, new information is now coming out about the assistant director who

handed Baldwin the gun in the first place. In the past, at least one prop maker filed a complaint

about him saying he disregarded safety protocols for weapons. So far, that assistant director has

not commented about the shooting or any past complaints. But there were apparently also issues on

this movie set too. Sources told the LA Times gun inspections were not strictly enforced on the set,

and even before the shooting, the LA Times reports there were at least two times when prop guns
