Are you surprised that everybody keeps looking at this case?

After all this time, yeah.

It has been 38 years since someone killed the owner of a bike shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I've run it through my mind. Was that the killer that I saw?

I told them his bloody boots were still at the house.

There was evidence in that house, and they would not listen to me.

The murder goes unsolved until 13 years later, when a new team of detectives takes a second look.

Kalamazoo forms a cold case investigative team, and it was pretty big news at the time.

I was like, wow, are you serious? You're gonna listen to me now?

Okay, let's do this.

I got home from school.

My grandma and my mom were crying, and they were telling me your dad just got arrested for murderer.

Case closed, right? Well, maybe not.

Did you ever question if they got the right person?

I don't think I believed it at the time. I don't think I believe it now.

I am 100% sure it was not a Jeep.

clues leading to the actual killer.

As we investigated Scott Baldwin's case, we began to realize that this story was so much bigger than we'd known.

How many other cold cases were going to come forward to go, hey man, we need to look at my shit because I didn't do it.
