How about a science fiction movie with not a moment of green screen?

Is that even possible?

And gentlemen, as you know, being in the television and film industry as we are,

that you can use green screens to create effects behind people.

In fact, everybody knows it now because they have it on their, you know, Skype slash Zoom slash

Teams slash FaceTime calls where they can project backgrounds behind them to make them look

like their places that they're not, like, as if they had like this beautiful library bar

in their own house that they had behind them.

And so there's a movie that we went to see the other

night. And when we left, my wife and I were talking about it all the way home. And at one point I said,

you know, the really difficult thing about a movie like that is, is that most of the movie was

basically two characters talking. And one of them was a fictional

character was an alien and so they so that means that the main actor was basically

talking to nothing the whole time Stephen Green I was wrong the movie is Project

Hail Mary.

Ryan Gosling is the star and they did not do it with green screens and special effects.

The alien was a practical effect.

The entire sets of the ships, the spaceships that they were on were all practical effects.

They built these things.

And the conversations that he had with this alien creature were conversations with the guy who was doing the voice and the motions of a puppeteer
