Hello and welcome to the bunker. I'm Gavin Esler. Everyone knows, including Donald Trump himself,

that he was unprepared to win the 2016 election. He entered the White House in January 2017

with a team that was often shambolic, including four press secretaries in four years.

This time, whatever you think of Trump's policies,

he's a man with a plan. But what is that plan? Well, here's a clue. During the 2024 campaign,

Trump repeatedly distanced himself from Project 2025. That's a 900-page conservative manifesto

written by the right-wing Washington, D.C. think tank,

the Heritage Foundation, a group that's been an intellectual powerhouse in Republican circles since the time of Ronald Reagan.

Trump may have publicly distanced himself from Project 2025, yet much of what he's done in the first few weeks in office follows closely

those Heritage Foundation ideas. So, for an assessment of where all this is leading, I'm joined

from Washington, D.C. by Andy Crawl. Andy is an investigative reporter for ProPublica,
