Welcome to Karen Hunter's awesome. I am Karen Hunter. And as you know, I'm on a journey this year. I'm on a 40-day year.

Every 40 days, I'm taking stock of where I am. I'm looking at my

life. I'm making tweak. I'm challenging myself. I'm failing. I'm getting back up. I'm walking.

I'm getting sick. And I'm healing. I'm doing all of the things this year. And so the conversations

that I'm having are, to me, some of the most in-. And so the conversations that I'm having are to me some of the most

in-depth, rich conversations that I've had in a while. And I'm so grateful. The last several

podcasts that you've listened to with Justin McDaniel, if this is your first one, hi, go back

and listen to the last three or four and get

acquainted. This last one is really about you. This is really about you and how you can see yourself

in this journey that we've been on, Justin and I, and really start to shape the kind of life

that you deserve to have. We all are here for a reason. We're breathing.

We got fingerprints. We are supposed to be here. And we're supposed to be doing something.

Your experience, I'm actually craving it right now. Is this something that you think,

you know how people have to join the army in certain countries? Like everybody has to be in

an army for a year or two. I feel like everyone should have to do this for a year, everybody,

like a rights of passage, like to go to a double. And cultures we have that and or had that and it was, it was lost.

And, you know, I'm a deep believer in national service, you know, that it would bring people

from all walks of life and all political persuasions and economic persuasions, you know,

or conditions, you know,

together around shared tasks, whether it's helping in rural hospitals or farming or I would

love something communal that would bring us together. And I don't think it'll ever happen,
