How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed?

And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?

And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

And how are they to preach unless they're sent? As it is written, And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach

unless they're sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news.

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?

So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the Word of Christ.

So we pray every day on this podcast for unreached people around the world.

And I am convinced that most Christians in at least the country where I live in the United States either don't realize

there are three billion people who are unreached by the gospel today who don't have a

Christian or a church near them who can share the gospel with them. Either people don't realize that

or Christians think that those three billion people are going to be okay when they die.

And that's the only explanation I can come up with for why we are not talking in the church

about unreached people all the time. Surely we don't believe. Realize there are three

billion people who never heard the gospel. And they're on a road that leads to eternal

suffering, do sinners, and we're doing nothing about that.

Or it's just kind of a program here in the church for a few people who actually care about that.

Three billion people who Romans makes clear, the Bible makes clear, are separated from God by their sin and are on a row that

leads to eternal judgment and have never even heard. So that's, I'm convinced the whole

reason the book of Romans was written, and it's summarized here in these verses that I just read.
