Welcome to this special episode of China Compass, the first in a weekly series which I am calling “The Prison Pulpit”!
I'm your China travel guide, Missionary Ben. You can follow me on X (@chinaadventures) where I post daily reminders to pray for China (PrayforChina.us). B.F. Westen is my pen name, for security reasons. If you want to see the missionary books I’ve published and learn more about our work, you can find easy links to everything @ PrayGiveGo.us!
Pastor Wang Yi's quote of the week:
"If he is imprisoned [permanently], he will entrust everything to the Lord and start his personal prison ministry. If he is free, he will be even bolder in preaching and asks God to transform him into a preacher that will 'turn the world upside down'."
Uncle Bundo (aka Cal) started his 6 month prison sentence in Illinois one week ago today (Oct 15, 2pm Central). This week I am re-playing an interview I did with him back in July just before his sentencing. Below are the links to that interview, and another one with his daughter, followed by ways you can bless Cal while he is in prison...
