For the first episode of this new podcast I am going to tell you about my

Easter. So we just had Easter. I walked downstairs on Easter morning and said to my

six children, happy Easter kids, he is risen!

Now what you have to understand is

there is a traditional response

among Catholic and Orthodox folk where everybody knows, everyone in this world knows that when someone says he is risen you respond by saying he is risen indeed

Everyone in my world knows this it's it's a thing. It's like a Pavlovian response

walk up to anyone who is deep inside what I affectionately called the Catholic ghetto you know Catholics who are like not

just Catholic but really into it and they can't even control their response if you say he is risen

They will say he is risen indeed. It's just a thing and so I say this to my children. I say good morning happy Easter he has risen and they're like great.

And it gets worse my my youngest I'm not making this up he whispers to the second youngest I think she's talking about Jesus

he thinks he's not sure

but he thinks.

Good guess, son.

Now, here's, you might say, well, that sounds,

that sounds pretty normal.

For new listeners, for someone who has just stumbled across this podcast of what what is

what is playing on my phone here you might think that's I mean if I my kids would

have the same reaction right well this is a good time for me to introduce myself.
