Summary

In April of 2019, 26-year-old Prisma Reyes’s life was in a bit of an upheaval. The single mother had ended a tumultuous relationship, gotten let go from her job, started a new one, and was apparently trying to rekindle a romance with her ex. Things were changing in her life so quickly that her family wasn’t aware of many of the details. What they did know, however, was that she was absolutely devoted to her six-year-old son. So when she failed to pick him up from his babysitter on the evening of April 17, they immediately knew that was not a decision that Prisma had made on her own.

Will retracing Prisma’s steps on that last day hold the key to finding the young mother and the person responsible for her disappearance? Prisma’s advocates strongly believe that crowdsourcing could be the key to finding pieces of the puzzle that police in Mesquite, Texas have missed.

(There are a few audio issues in this episode, but they are resolved by about the 12-minute mark).

Anyone with information related to Reyes’ disappearance is urged to contact the Mesquite Police Department at 972-285-6336. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online via North Texas Crime Stoppers or by calling its tip line at 877-373-8477.
