1200 bucks.

We're all supposed to be receiving 1200 bucks. We're all supposed to be receiving 1,200 bucks in our checking accounts.

Mine hasn't arrived. I don't know if yours has. But the Washington Post is reporting,

many Americans woke up expecting to find payment of $1,200,

but it wasn't there or it was the wrong amount.

And parents of children complain they didn't get their $500.

And here's where it gets real interesting.

Several million people who filed their taxes

via HR Block, TurboTax,

to other popular services were unable to get their payments

because the IRS didn't have the direct deposit information on file.

That's because these companies insert themselves in the middle between you and the IRS so that

they can give you advances on your taxes and then when your tax refund comes it goes right to those

companies now in other countries I don't know if you saw Michael Moore's movie

where to invade next but it's it's fascinating and in that movie he talks about how other

countries do taxes and he describes a couple of countries where they basically

calculate your taxes for you,

send you a postcard or a letter that says,

okay, here's how much you how much was collected,

here's how much you owe,
