talking let's get on with the story let's go hey my stoop kids i just wanted to get on here really, really quickly and say that this

episode is super, super special to me. And I hope it will be super special to you because it was my first

episode I did live. Last Friday, I went on Facebook live and Instagram live and read this story live.

So I just wanted to thank all of our student kids who joined us on Facebook and Instagram and listened to me, read this wonderful story about Princess Tia and her friends out loud.

So if it sounds a little weird and a little

wonky than usual, it's because we were live,

and I just wanted to spice it up and change it up.

thanks so much. Here's the story. Okay, so we're ready to go. Okay, this is Princess Tia and her

friends. Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so far away, lived a beautiful princess named Tia.

Now, this wasn't your ordinary kingdom that you hear about in fairy tales.

Instead of a big castle on the top of a hill surrounded by trees and grass,

Tia's royal castle was a three-story row home in the heart of the city, surrounded by shiny gray concrete marble steps and police cars zipping up and down the street.

This was her kingdom. She lived in her castle with the queen, her mom, who was a teacher by day and a business

student by night, always rushing from work to pick up Princess Tia from school to take her
