The build up to this trial has been very long and then very fast. You have had years,

literally years since Harry filed this case. It was in late 2019 when I was in the Guardian

Newsroom and it dropped that Prince Harry was going to sue both the publisher of the mirror

and the publisher of the Sun over alleged phone hacking.

And it was a complete break with Preston and we didn't know what was going on and we were

completely blindsided. It came out of nowhere. And for years there's been these phone hacking cases

that were the result of the Guardian's reporting back in the 2000s and early 2010s.

And most of the cases haven't had much coverage, so Harry getting involved was extraordinary.
