Order. Questions to the Prime Minister?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

Mr. Speaker, I'm sure the whole House will wish to join me in offering our heartfelt condolences

to the family and friends of Private Reese Miller from the 1st Battalion the Yorkshire

Regiment, who died on the 30th of June while on operations in Estonia as a result of a non-battle

injury. Private Miller served his country with great distinction, and that service will not be forgotten.

This week marks 70 years since the NHS was founded.

It's rightly one of the nation's most loved institutions, and I would like to take this opportunity

to pay tribute to and recognise the dedication and hard work of NHS staff across the country.

And finally, Mr. Speaker, the country witnessed a very rare and welcome event last

night, the England football team winning a penalty shootout.

Can I say, I think the explosion of relief and most of all joy could be felt up and down

the country, not just in the smoking room of the House of Commons. And I want to congratulate Gareth Southgate and

his team on a great performance. Last week, I promised to fly the flag of St George above

number 10 for all of England's remaining matches in the World Cup. And I know the whole

House will want to join me in wishing the England team the best of luck in Saturday's quarterfinal.

Let's keep that flag flying.

And Mr Speaker, this morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others.

In addition to my duties in this House, I shall have further such meetings later today.
