Happy Pride. I'm so excited to present this series for the whole month of June, where we highlight

four amazing people in the LGBT community. Each one might be someone you know or you get to be

introduced to them. The great thing is whether you're in that community or whether you're an ally like I am,

there's so much to learn. I have been truly challenged during this time of recording and

getting to know these individuals. I have fumbled. I have made mistakes. I have learned. I've

been challenged, and I'm leaving all that in because I want

you to see how no matter how much we think we're an ally. It doesn't mean that we can't improve and

can't be challenged and learn. And part of that is by being embarrassed at things we might say or mess up. I really hope that this

encourages you, especially those who are younger or older, who are still trying to negotiate

their own identities. I hope this gives you some peace, and I also hope, you know, you laugh a bit.
