In today's episode, a predator most certainly realizes that they

become prey in the amazing TV movie Prey, which is a predator prequel. There's a lot of peas

in the sentence. And one important thing to note is that it is eligible as best TV movie

for an Emmy this year in 2023. I absolutely love Prey. I think the writing and directing

and acting and effects, this movie is fantastic, which is why I was so pleased to have with me

the director, Dan Tractonberg, as our guest today. It's been a hot minute since Dan was in the

podcast last. We did a screening and podcast long ago for 10 Cloverfield Lane,

and that was an absolute blast. And it's great to have Dan back. And, you know, I just got

lucky. This interview was recorded before the strike. It had been done a little while back.

And I have been sitting on it waiting for Emmy season because I wanted to run it during the award

season.

And I just got lucky and happened to catch Dan at a time where he actually had some time to

breathe. And that's why we were able to really go through this movie. And some of the things

Dan said are just complete and pure lessons. And what I love about interviewing him is that he

really has just a no-nonsense
