Welcome into the Go Balls 24-7 podcast. I am Ben McKee and I am joined by Patrick Brown here on the eve of the music City Bowl. Christmas has come and gone and now it's time to focus on the bright and exciting lights of Nissan Stadium that will host the Music City Bowl on Tuesday evening. Patrick,

how are you? How was Christmas? How excited are you for the Music City Bowl between Tennessee

and Illinois? I'm ready to get it over with so I can go back home if I'm being entirely

honest. Christmas was great. Got to see a lot of family. Really fun time

for the kids. I have two four-year-olds who are turning five on Thursday. So I am glad that this

bowl game is not interfering with any birthday time that I can spend with them. But yeah, I got here on

Friday. I guess it's the week But yeah, I got here on Friday.

I guess it's the week where no one knows what day it is between Christmas and New

years.

But yeah, two practices at Montgomery Bell Academy for Tennessee.

Well, we didn't see any of it, obviously.

But did talk to Josh Heifle and a handful of players

after those two days over there.

And then obviously on Monday had the official bowl press conference with both head coaches,

Brett Beelma and Josh Heifle and coordinator for a team.

So we heard from Joey Hawsley and interim defensive coordinator, William Inge,

who is calling the shots for this game for Tennessee.

So the weather has been crazy because my wife and kids came over from Knoxville on

Saturday.

We actually took our boys to the Titans game on Sunday.

Titans played the Saints.
