Summary
We look ahead to the final triple header that will decide the destiny of the 2025 world championship in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast.
Mark Hughes and Scott Mitchell-Malm join Edd Straw to look at the balance of power between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri and ask if there’s anything the Australian can do to turn the tables on his McLaren team-mate.
The final three tracks are evaluated in terms of how well they are suited to McLaren and the rest, and which ones present Piastri or Norris with the opportunity to make gains.
And with Max Verstappen still mathematically in contention, we ask if there is a realistic chance he can make up the 49-point deficit and where the Red Bull RB21 will have its best opportunities.
We also take a look at the lucrative battle for sixth in the constructors’ championship, and ask if Williams can really rest easy in fifth place.
