This is John Bachelor. Later on tonight, I speak with my friend, Michael Jan, who is in

Tbilisi, Georgia. Most interesting, Michael recounts his trip to Gory, Georgia, hometown

for a man named Zhu Gashvili, whom we know is Joseph Stalin. And Michael recounts, who

visited the museum the day he was there. In an interesting mix of nationalities, attending

a museum that is devoted to venerating Stalin, the Georgian son, who rose up to be the

master of the Soviet Union, and the man who not only led the conquest of Hitlerites, the

Varmak, but also launched the Cold War with his takeover of Berlin and East Germany, and

his challenge to the United States after the war, and an ally through the war, but after

the Cold War started when Joseph Stalin launched it. Is Michael on? Who is at the Gory Museum?

So, yeah, there was nothing derogatory at all towards Stalin there. Most of the tourists that

I saw there were either Chinese, they were speaking Mandarin. There were some Arabs. There's a

lot of Arabs here that come on vacation. There were quite a few Germans, and some others in

Spanish, I think, from Spain. It was quite a mix here. I'm not sure how many Georgians actually

go there. It might be like, is New World? I don't know.
