This is John Batchel. I learned from colleagues Fanti Cornell of the American Foreign Policy

Council that the U.S. investor is not much in Central Asia, chiefly Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan,

where there's rich natural resources,

including uranium ore. Russia buys from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and resells it to the U.S. and its allies.

However, they have lots of oil and gas as well, and I learned from Svanti that that is the inhibition for the State Department,

the Commerce Department, the Biden administration, the oil and gas, the riches of Central Asia.
