0:10.3	We're excited to be announcing that we are going to be covering Tropic Thunder this Sunday
0:16.1	live at 3 p.m. PT on the Sinophiles YouTube channel.
0:20.1	As our monthly, the Sinophiles Live episode, we're about to walk into a few weeks of military
0:26.5	movies and we thought we'd start off with a comedy first as a live conversation and
0:31.6	then get into some of the other films that we're going to get into, which will be announced
0:35.2	soon.
0:36.2	But this is one Steve that I thoroughly loved watching many times have owned it numerous
0:39.8	forms.
0:40.8	It's recently come out in 4K directed by Ben Stiller, parodying actors who go to method,
0:46.5	military movies, people who write these military movies, people who direct these military
0:50.8	movies.
0:51.8	And it's got a great cast with Robert Downey Jr., the aforementioned Ben Stiller as
0:55.8	well.
0:56.8	Also, Jay Barrichell being a part of this brand new to Jackson, Jack Black, and of course,
1:00.8	the great Tom Cruise back at that time in 2008 when he was recovering from having jumped
1:06.1	on that couch on Oprah talking about love and getting old.
1:09.9	What I'm so excited about is what I love about this film is that like all great satires,
1:14.2	is it clearly loves what it's satire and it understands apocalypse now in platoon.
