Whale of the Hoover Institution.

We spoke of the process of filling Dianne Farnstein's seat for the rest of the term and the

primary and the days ahead, but we came to a part, this is a preview of a much longer

conversation, where we discuss Gavin Newsom's presidential planning.

It is not clear what the road is, but it includes the White House for Governor Newsom and

the appointment of the Levant Spotler to sit in the Dianne Farnstein seat and maybe run

for the seat itself, maybe not.

All of these decisions made by Gavin Newsom are now much larger, much more weight because

of the potential he has to be a president.

And Bill explains that Newsom, the Governor Newsom, is very good at these announcements,

very good at politics for the Democratic Party in California, listen to Bill's reasoning

and also Gavin Newsom understands the first paragraph is the important one.

That's a good lesson for anyone, but especially for presidential contenders.

Well, it just imagine it would be like, if you actually ran for president in terms of

the second coming at Campbell lot and so on and so forth, you got a little dinged up

here in California, circles by columnists, people like me who spend way too much time

falling this stuff over the fact that he had to go to Maryland, but also that he backed

track off the interim pledge, if you will.

So again, a few demands for that, but overall, one thing Gavin Newsom can say that this

is what he seems to love the most and making these appointments, its ability to lead paragraph
