It is about a man who ages in reverse.

It was first published in Collier's magazine in 1922 and was later anthologized in the same year

in Fitzgerald's Book Tales of the Jazz Age

It has been adapted into a movie in 2008

and a stage musical in 2019. In 1860 Benjamin Button is born an old man, withered and worn, but as he continues to grow backwards, getting younger, he embraces life,

living through all our major milestones of the time until he eventually returns to the care of his

nurse.
