of the original Danish Barry Town, the little mermaid written by Hans Christian Andersen

and published for the first time in 1837. Our mermaid longs to understand the world above the waves

and makes a trade with a sea witch that will allow her to travel to the princess castle.

But while everything doesn't turn out the way she hopes it will, there may be a happy ending

among the daughters of the air for our princess of the sea.
