about the idea that NATO's next Secretary General should come not from Western Europe,

but from the eastern wing of NATO, facing the Russian aggression,

the Baltics Finland, Poland certainly, Romania certainly,

the front line states and the name mentioned is Klausianus, the president of Romania.

I ask Antonio, is there a support for your president becoming Secretary General of NATO.

NATO is looking to new leadership, new ideas to support Ukraine and to reinforce or to arm for the first time its frontier for the struggle ahead.

The big meeting is in Washington this summer.

And Tona Kalabashano, Professor, Geopolitical futures in Bucharest.

Well, Romania is certainly supporting that idea.

I believe that we do believe Johannes would be a good choice and not to mention that this is a political role and anything that is being

lobbied within NATO is actually lobbied by the Romanian diplomacy.

So this is a sort of a mandate that is taken by

Romania as a state to support President Johannes to to run for this.
