This is John Bachelor speaking with my colleagues David Livingston of the Space Show and

Rick Fisher of the International Assessment and Strategy Center looking at the Moon and

the announced People's Republic of China that China plans for the Moon. They're

building a complex system and in this instance Rick outlines the satellite

constellation that the Chinese are planning and why and how it

would work. We're talking about China supremacy on the moon step by step. This is the first signing up countries on the earth to join them in domination on the moon.

But China plans to surround the moon with a satellite constellation for

navigation, communications, and surveillance.

This constellation, the Kappau constellation

in itself creates a very powerful incentive, especially if access is subsidized by China

to encourage the growing numbers of members of the ILRS to invest and expand the Chinese

lead presence on the moon.

The goal would essentially be to create a passive force that would be irresistible.

It would be irresistible.

It would be so advantageous to join the Chinese enterprise on the moon,

especially financially advantageous, that you would conclude as a state or as a space

investing company is, that's where you want to be.

And thus, you know you again you would buy into the

total Chinese agenda for hegemony not just on earth but also in space.

And every time the Americans or the Artemis Coalition

did something askance, well, you would be called on to a post.
