Happy to hear from Eric Klein, Professor of Archaeology at the University of Pennsylvania,

his breakthrough book of some years back, 1177 BC, the year civilization collapsed. The Mediterranean

world was globalized, trade, warfighting, security, and then gone. The new book is after 1177 B.C. the

rebirth of civilization. It's all quite wonderful because that's not very long ago and there was a different world

than we understand with the Greeks and the Romans. This is pre-classical.
