Conversation with my good colleague Michael Yan.

He's in Panama City, observing the building of a bridge over the Panama Canal, the fourth bridge, they call it,

parallel to the American Highway Bridge that has been there for many decades.

Who's funding it and where the money comes from is an inquiry.

However, Michael takes that opportunity to report on his trip to El Salvador,

where China aid has built a library that is very good at bringing people in and teaching them

about China before they're permitted to play video games. Michael will explain. Then he went to

Belize, where there's reason to believe Taiwan is putting money in to combat with China aid. Maybe

not.

And then other parts of Central America are all reporting China aid or something like it coming in.

That's true in Argentina as well.

China aid is very clearly targeting the Central American nations and the South American nations for friendly persuasion.

Well, it's clear that all the infrastructure throughout Central America is being upgraded.

For instance, Masako and I went up to El Salvador, and we looked at the road work that they're doing up there and some port work that they're doing.

And in the new library that the Chinese Communist Party has put in under China Aid.
