Well, John, I think the number that I've heard is two to three with the goal of trying to

force Hamas to capitually during a lightning

offensive. I am not sure that that is going to happen, primarily because I think Hamas understands

that all they have to do is to survive. So they are going to try to stand tall. The Israelis are

going to put as much pressure as they can on the terror group.

They are continuing to remove infrastructure, including those tall towers that have provided

Hamas with observation points. They're all going down. There will not be much of Gaza left at the end

of this, but that doesn't mean that Hamas is going to be willing to capitulate.

After those two to three months, the Israelis are going to have to assess whether they have achieved most of their military goals or whether they want to continue to fight onward.
