Thaler, like the two authors, Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler,

they made their careers in Chicago.

And, right, if you look at this, right,

if in the 1970s, you know,

Friedman and the Chicago boys were the tragedy,

uh,

love that album,

Thaler and Sunstein are absolutely the farce of 2008. Yeah, like, Friedman is like,

I mean, he's pretty upfront and just like being evil, more or less. Friedman will just

like nakedly tell you like, yeah, we need some fascism to open up markets, uh, you know,

any, anyone who dies because of markets, like, fuck you, that was supposed to happen.

Just like, you know, it doesn't really, like, he dresses it up in some flowery language about how, like, you know, markets are liberatory or whatever.

But for the most part, he's talking to the people he's selling it to directly, the policymakers.

Sunstein has this, you know, as the farce and the most farcical thing you could want is a media

career.

You know, he like every one of his time, everyone of that era wanted to be a media star.

And so the book is filled, like his things are filled with like, you know, self-congratulatory outside thinking and actually flowery language in a way that Friedman wouldn't do.

Even if they're functionally the same, their ideas.

And I mean, it's the, if you want to look at that, it's the, that Takeshi Kitano, the Japanese filmmaker called America an entertainment nation.

And Sunstein is absolutely the Milton Friedman of an entertainment nation.
