One of the funniest scenes of the film, actually, which kind of, I think, gets to this in some ways is at the very beginning, when the army guy is like talking about how he met, how he recruited Maya Rudolph's character and he was talking to her pimp.

And there's just like he has like 80 slides of him partying you know with

these people but it's obviously plays into like these like really gross stereotypes um you know

about black pimps and like you know urban culture and all this shit and then he drops an

end bomb he does he does yeah he casually he just says that yeah yeah he. He just drops an end bomb because it's cool and edgy and funny.

It's actually if you're an army officer, you're allowed to do that.

Yeah.

Once you get to field grade rank, you're just allowed to be racist all the time.

You're allowed to the United States's arsenal of slurs.

You've been trained.

You can blast ends.

I can handle that.

Look, highly trained army officers as myself should be able to blast the N-word.

But civilians do not need to blast the N-word.

They should be happy with smaller, less harmful slurs.

These slurs belong in the streets of Afghanistan, not our streets.

This is meant for the battlefield where you have to be really racist, not the home country

where only a little bit of racism should be done.

If you're hunting deer, you don't need to be racist at over a thousand yards.

But, okay, one of the things I actually, I also wanted to get in, wanted to get into was like,
