This is John Bachelor from a longer conversation with my colleague Joe Trusman of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy filing at the Long War Journal about the militias and gangs gathering in Lebanon to threaten Israel.

Hezbollah has not launched its major offensive.

It is harassing Israel along the border between Lebanon and Israel, but other groups,

Palestinian Islamic Jihad is named and sore groups coming out of Syria.

There is evidence that they're gathering for what and so are groups coming out of Syria.

There's evidence that they're gathering.

For what?

It's possible. You know, I'll say this. You do make a good point, but other groups as well in Lebanon have at least claimed that they've attacked Israel during this current conflict.

And specifically, Hamas, actually just,

I'd say within the last hour,

Hamas published a statement saying

that they fired rockets against northern Israel from Lebanon, not from Gaza.

Islamic jihad, another Palestinian armed group that operates in Gaza and Lebanon and Syria have made claims already during this war that they've fired rockets or I'm sorry attack the security fence along the Israel-Lebbonon border during this fighting.

So yeah, so we're seeing other groups involved here and there are there is good information or rather evidence that Syrian fighters from Islam or

Chihad are traveling to Lebanon and attacking Israeli troops at the Lebanon-Israel border.

So this whole foreign fighters traveling to Lebanon is very concerning and it does indicate that this

conflict can grow can grow wider essentially.
