remarking on the expectation of an Israeli Defense Force professional army attack on Gaza City,

those are the towers at the north part of the Gaza Strip in order to clear out the Hamas that are hiding there

among the civilian population. What are the challenges? David points to logistics. Logistics wins

wars, not tactics. And logistics include question of morale, question of supplies, equipment of weapons, and the people who fight the war, the reservists and the professionals.

As far as I know, the Israeli forces have entered the center of Gaza City. They're still operating on the margins.

Reserve call-up is still ongoing, and there's still planning and discussion about how to deal with the center of Gaza City.

I think the Israelis are trying to impart an attack on that scale on such a dense urban area is not easy and takes time

and takes long deliberation, especially given Israel's resources today all around.

And I'm talking about not just its arsenal, not just the state of its weapons, but also, you know, not just, you know, its arsenal, not just the state of its weapons,

but also, you know, morale and soldier fatigue, its international credit, international opposition,

or all at a low point, an historical low point in some cases.

So conducting an operation with degraded resources or relatively depleted resources is complicated.

At the same time, I think the Israelis are also trying to leverage the potential for a full

incursion into Gaza against Hamas. I think when we look at polling and statistics, I think I

saw a number in the past couple of days that something like 80% of Israelis want this war to be

over, and that's not just coming from, you know, diehard leftists.
