What needs to be done.

More ships, more people, more planes, more planning.

But there is terms of art that Admiral Montgomery

and Brad Bowman teach me as they have a conversation with John

Acalino, the Admiral in charge of Indopacom, who is preparing all those forces now, preparing the islands, preparing the people of

the Indo-Pacific for a catastrophe.

What we're looking at here is a term of art that is important for sustaining and

winning a contest. It's called Contested Logistics and I ask Brad and the Admiral to help me understand and what needs to be done.

Well, this is the backbone of everything Brad just laid out really well,

right? The backbone of like being,

have a distributed force network,

having a good forward posture, having resilient war fighters, is being able to

execute logistics in the contested environment. Look, we are world-class

logisticians, the United States military.

There's no one else like us.

No one else can execute extended 8, 10,000 mile campaigns.
