In the early 2000s, a quiet revolution was brewing in the United States.

A few radical thinkers were dreaming up a new

method of communication, one that would be free from the old systems of power. They named

their invention, podcasting. But then a funny thing happened. Podcasters, who had once seen

themselves as the vanguard of a new type of society,
