Mount Etna, one more time, another eruption.

Lorenzo reports the collapse of the crater.

We saw some photographs and TV of tourists walking by as the mountain was erupting.

It's routine. It sends up a big ash cloud.

This is Sicily.

Mount Etna, the most famous Italian, after Vesuvius,

the other Italian volcano.

It's a very active volcano and earthquake zone,

so much so that there was a small earthquake at Pompeii, Pompeii, that did

some damage.

Well, let me tell you, first of all, that Aetna is a very active volcano.

I mean, every two months, three months, there is an eruption.

This time, the eruption was really fantastic and spectacular.

I mean, there was a sort of collapse of the largest crater. I don't know whether

this is the right. Yes, the mouth of the volcano. And this, of course, was a sort of ingredients

that was erupted by the strong pressure and heat of the volcano in the sky.

So we had a hash column of many kilometers that is visible when you fly across the Mediterranean
